I've had this 1999 Toyota Solara for 12 years and I really can't complain she's been good to me and she's still running strong. The only major work I've had done on her was a new clutch put in 3 years ago. I did all the oil changes myself every 3000 miles and I changed the brakes and rotors myself last change was Nov of 2012. Had tie-rods replaced and tires are in good condition. Car is on a lifetime alignment plan at Firestone so alignments and tire rotations happened on a regular basics. New battery was installed 2 years ago and H2O sensor was replaced 3 years ago because check engine light was on and could not pass emission test. After new sensor was installed car passed emissions test, I believe this is the same reason the check engine light is on now. Light has been on for over a year and car still performs well. Car has a few parking lot dings on the door area. Also have a small dent on the passenger front fender. Hood has a few dents in it after I forgot to latch it and drove on the highway and the wind blew the hood up and caused the dents. As a result the hood struts no longer work.Check engine light is on and leaks a little oil. For a car thats 16yrs old she doesn't look or act the part.This car comes w/ no warrenty, And bought As-Is.
