Vehicle Detail

1966 Porsche 912 Sunroof coupe for sale. Resto Mod style build in very good condition inside and outRecent rotisserie repaint in Beige Grey, not sure if original colorNo rust in the chassis or body. Sunroof drain is on the top of the "C" pillarTan/Brown German Vinyl interior in excellent condition. Everything works on this car! One of the previous owners had made a few changes to the car when it was painted that he surely felt were updates to this car. Therefore there are a few things on this car that are not original for 1966:All trim changed to anodized black, some trim not for 1966 car. (1967 S Trim on rockers, rear decklid trim changed to later style)Seats are 1968+Later 912 black/red gaugesMomo Signature Steering WheelReal Fuchs wheels added1975-77 Doors installed to add electric windows Non numbers matching engine. This car was very recently restored and it shows, very few flaws in the paint. I would say a strong 8 out of 10. If you are looking at this car to return to stock, you have a good head start, If you want a car that is finished and drives great, don't change a thing!!Unfortunately the previous owner/s did not keep any paperwork. Engine runs great and 5 speed transmission works flawlessly. This is a great daily driver with tons of style 39925 miles on odometer, I assume 139925 but do not have any documentation Good luck in bidding, thanks for looking! On Feb-05-15 at 17:03:24 PST, seller added the following information: Upon answering a question on the sunroof I found a small scratch and chip in the paint on the left rear portion of the sunroof door. The chip is approx. 3mm in diameter, and the scratches are about 10-13 mm long on the edge of the sunroof door and should be able to buff out.
