1984 Chevrolet C10 Silverado Up for auction here is a very clean 1984 Chevrolet C10. This is a very solid truck and has been very well taken care of for the last 30 years its been on the road. All this truck needs is a new driver and you can be cruising around getting a lot of looks and thumbs up. I have seen quite a few of these older pickups over the years and have never ran across an original one as clean as this. I am the third owner of the truck and have never had a single problem. It was basically stock until about two weeks ago when I decided to lower it and put the bigger wheels and tires on it. This setup only has 400 miles on it and the truck itself has 107,000. The truck runs and drives very good and has never let me down whether it was cruising down the highway or just putting around town. The entire drivetrain is very solid and needs nothing at. The engine is a V8 350 with a Turbo 350 transmission. The engine oil was just changed along with a new transmission filter and fluid. A few upgrades have been made to the engine including; Edelbrock carburator, intake, valve covers, long tube headers and full length true dual exhaust. The AC pump has been removed by the previous owner because it was making a noise. I did not receive the pump with the truck but the bracket and lines are all still there so just put a new pump in and the AC will be in working order again. The rear axle has had a new Richmond gear set installed which is now a 3:73 posi. All of the brakes have recently been replaced within the last 5000 miles. The lowered suspension consists of a 3" lowering spindle, 2 inch front drop spring, axle flip kit for the rear and all new lowered shocks. The suspension components were all from Belltech and the truck rides just as good as it did when it was stock. A professional alignment was performed after all the suspension work was performed so it drives straight and true. The wheels are 20x8 and 20x10 American Racing Torq Thrust II's and the tires are Toyo Proxes ST II's. Like stated earlier the wheels and tires are brand new with only 400 miles on them. The body on this truck is very straight and has no rust at all. I have never seen a truck is this area as clean as this one. I did take some pictures of the bottom side when it was on the hoist just to show that this truck has never been rusted out. There is no body damage at all just a few little dings here and there but you have to be looking for them to even notice. The paint is nice and shiny but does have some flaws being that its a 30 year old truck. There is some rock chips on the front and there is a couple spots on the truck where the paint is thin on the top of the bed sides. To me this just adds to the look and has a real neat patina look to it. If you were wanting a show quality paint job it wouldn't take very long at all to respray the truck since there is no damage and rust to worry about. All the glass is in really good shape except for the windshield which has a small crack on the drivers side up in the tinted part. It is not in the drivers view and I never worried about it since you hardly even notice it. There is also a tiny rock chip on the passenger side of the windshield that I never did get filled but it hasn't spread at all. These spots are really nothing at all but I still wanted to mention it. The trim and bumpers are in excellent shape with no damage at all. The truck also has a hidden hitch installed and has a brake controller mounted inside the cab. The interior is very clean. The previous owner had a seat cover over the seat and blankets across the floor to protect the carpet. The seat shows no wear at all and still looks like new. The carpet is stain free and also shows no sign of wear. All of the trim is intact and in good shape for the year. Everything works inside as it should and all the gauges are in good working order. The truck is very highly options from the factory including: Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Cruise Control, AC, Power Locks, and Power Windows. The Service Parts Identification tag is located on the drivers side inner fender and is still intact. This shows all the options that the truck came with when it was ordered from the factory. The factory tire jack and tools are also still located on the passenger side inner fender and looks to have never been used. Overall this is just a good solid older truck that is a blast to drive. Just hop in the drivers seat and blast down the highway worry free. I have had this truck listed a couple of times now and the deal never went through because the buyers could not arrange shipping.
