This is a well cared for 1986 F-250 4x4 club cab. Kept inside most of its life and only used when needed, shows just how nice this truck is. From it having only 79,000 original miles is just the start. The truck is fully loaded with all of the options that were available, and the best part is, that it all works just the way it should. The interior is a 9 1/2 out of 10. The only flaw is the typical deterioration of the tops of the door panels, other than that it’s great. There are a few realy cool things that people would overlook in an older Ford like this but, let me tell you what they are. This for all basic points is the last non-computer controlled pick-up Ford made. So what that means is you get a 4v factory Holley carb, A C6 auto transmission, so no being stranded waiting for sensors or non replaceable non made computers or junk AOD trans that doesn’t know what gear to put its self into. With just two pumps of the gas pedal it starts right away. After that, stick it in gear and your off. The C6 was the best auto trans Ford has ever made, and this was the last year they made it. The trans engages without any hesitations and shifts positively. The steering and the brakes are fantastic. It rides and drives great. I’ve taken it on a few long trips with no issues. Just get on the road, set the cruise control, tilt the wheel and enjoy the drive. It’s quiet, no rattles, no abusive ride from shot parts and junk tires. The tires on the truck are 10 ply Michelin’s with hardly any wear on them. It’s just a great truck all the way around. Here’s the list of all the options. The truck is an easy one to tell that the low miles are for real. In the pictures that I’ve posted you will notice that there so pictures of the date coded hoses and notice that the upper and lower radiator hoses still have the factory clamps that are still attached to the hoses with the staples that the factory used on the assembly line. The truck is a great truck to own for someone who doesn’t want 4 to 5 years of payments to get this quality of a truck with low mileage and all the options. To take the truck cross country would be a cake walk for it and I would have no apprehensions at all. Bid with confidence, this truly is a nice truck.
