1963 Volvo P1800 Jensen # 5743 of 6000. ALMOST RUST FREE California Black Plate 1963 Volvo P1800. This is number 5743 of the 6000 P1800 Jensen built in England for Volvo since Volvo did not have room in their Plant in Gothenburg Sweden. By the end of 1963 Volvo start to make the 1800 in Gothenburg and was then named 1800S. (See copy of Volvo delivery notes, their you can see that the car was finished for delivery January 17 1963) It have original B18 Engine with Dual SU Carbs, 4 Speed Manual Transmission with Electric Overdrive. The car have been repainted, according to Volvo as you can see on the picture with the vin number plate the color should be # 70 Red and the interior # 302 White.This is a Rare and Perfect Candidate to Restore. There is some rust in front and behind the rear wheel on the right side. (See Picture). There is some dents here and there but nothing major. All Glass are fine. As seen on the pictures it will need re upholstery, carpets, dash and general cleaning. Included is also the 4 Heavy Duty Hubcaps in good condition and some parts as seen on the picture. This is a one owner car but sadly when the husband passed away 1990 the car was left for the nature. Since the Volvo have been out of DMV records for more than 10 years I have requested a Vin Number verification and with that the car will have a new record at DMV and comes with a Clean Pinkslip and all fees paid up to date. As you may understand the vehicle is NOT Driveable in current condition and must be towed away.
