1962 Studebaker GT. 289 4 barrel with 4 speed trans. Restored to a nice driver condition. Runs and drives very good. Engine appears to have had recent overhaul (see photo of head under valve cover). All gages and clock work well. Radio will get a couple of AM stations. New upholstery, carpet and much interior trim. Headliner is original. Suspension, brakes and shocks new. New tires. New exhaust. Practically all new weatherstrip throughout. Body was removed from frame for rust removal and repair and is solid. Paint and body work are OK at 25 feet, but could be redone to bring the car up a couple of notches.All the bright work is totally original and looks 53 years old. That which was really bad was never re-installed. Windshield has some small scratches on pass side.A huge amount of the heavy lifting has been done on this car. Buy it and use it as is , or spend a little more time on it and make it really special.
