Hello, This truck is a great daily driver that runs perfectly. It was built 2 years ago and I drive it from time to time. Everything works as it should and was very well mapped out during the build. The hood is a custom tilt-hood providing much better access to the engine compartment. The cab sits on a completely rebuilt 1996 chevy full size truck chassis that has been shortened to fit the studebaker body (titled as a 1949 studebaker). The grill has been smoothed and molded to the fenders, and the front bumper narrowed and recessed from a late model truck. The custom tailgate opens sideways and there is a molded roll pan with recessed taillights.This is a general parts list:2002 Chevy 5.3 Vortec Engine with 23K miles on it. I think the pictures say a lot about this truck. It is in wonderful and very respectable shape. With that being said it is driven regularly and has a few minor knicks or imperfections in the paint. It is not going to win the Concourse De' Elegance but looks and drives and runs great. I would have no issues hopping in and driving it cross country tomorrow. The buy it now price is less than the price of parts for this truck. It was professionally built and reflects that. It tracks down the road great as it should, and rides stiff. Softer springs are available if you like a softer ride. Overall this is the nicest Studebaker I have seen, and the price is far lower than others out there.
