Please take a moment to read My name is Arekluz, I've had a passion for classic cars and trucks since I was a kid, and I have been restoring them since 1984. I've held onto five of my rare vehicles since I closed down my shop/warehouse and kept them registered, insured and driven, with the exception of my F-250 Ford truck that has been parked in the garage for some time now. Do to my wife's recent business success / invention our lives have taken a turn and lead us on a journey across the nation and Europe as well. I have always been against letting a vehicle stay parked for a long period of time, so I am at a point where I have to sell or store my vehicles till who knows when. I've come to the decision of listing my vehicles including a motorcycle I recently purchased in hopes of finding that "one" individual that would be interested in making the right deal. This is my super rare 1967 cab & chassis factory custom K/20 3/4 ton 4x4 Chevrolet truck with all factory original 4.6L 283 and 4-speed manual transmission. Everything is functional including the pto winch. This was special order truck for the city of Bakersfield California. This truck was originally the city yellow which can be seen in the pictures. The truck was purchased from the city back in the 1970's painted the cream color it currently is and taken to the man's ranch and used for hauling hay. Last registered in 1972 till I purchased it and registered it a while back. I have a lot of experience and I am pretty good on how many miles a car has, but this truck has always had me baffled on weather or not the miles are 21185 or 121185. All numbers matching factory original truck. Last year I drove to Fremont California (where the truck was built by the way) to purchase the original front differential. The pumpkin on the differential that's on the truck was struck somewhere at some point and leaked the oil so I wanted to replace it. It has been sitting in the bed of the truck ever since. The gentlemen kept logs of oil changes and such on the driver side door (please see pictures). Registered and insured. Runs and drives excellent. The body has dents and dings, floor and roof has rust (please see pictures). Every part to this truck is available or reproduced for sale online which makes it highly desirable. Drive as is or restore. Note: My credit union offered me a twenty thousand dollar loan on this truck a while back and I accepted ten thousand of that figure. So my credit union holds the clean California title to this truck and I can have it in my hands within 3 days. What I have done... New rebuilt carburetor, hoses, belts, plugs, cap, rotor, points, battery, brake booster, master cylinder, all brake cylinders, lines, shoes, drums, rotors, all wheel bearings, warn locking hubs, mud terrain tires all new. What it needs... The shocks are worn out and I never had the time to replace them.Needs headlights replaced.Could use a new clutch.Radio lights up but I never had a chance to test it.
