Vehicle Detail

This is a Early 1930 Ford AA Tow Truck Restoration Project. ALL WORK DOCUMENTED BY PICTURES. Sold on a bill of sale only. The frame, springs, brake drums, fron/rear backing plates, front/rear end have been sandblasted, epoxy primed and painted black. The brake drums have been precision ground down by a machine shop. (not turned) The brakes shoes have been sandblasted, painted and relined. All new wheel/axle bearings front and rear, Flathead Ted brake adjusters, new brake rods, new battery bracket, new exhaust bracket, rebuilt brake cross shaft, The rear end has been taken apart, cleaned, rebuilt with new bearings and races. The Torque tube and drive shaft have been cleaned, replaced with new front bearing, new seal and a new speedo gear. The front end has new bushings and king pins, new steering links and new balls replaced on the ends. The front and rear springs, shackles have new busings and hardware. New front running board brackets and the correct rear AA running board brakets have been correctly hot riveted to the frame. The truck has 6 new tires (the tubes need replacing, dry cracks). The Budd wheels are dated May 30 and are the best condition I have ever seen with the correct rings. New front and new rear hubcaps are included. New lug nuts. There is a matching number bare bones block with no 4 speed transmission. I do have the correct AA bell housing. The cab is complete, not taken apart, gas tank, doors, running boards, fenders, hood, splash aprons, steering column/wheel are included. The old seat bottom and back are included. A new radiator and a nice original commercial radiator shell, 1930 commercial headlights, NOS headlight lenses, headlight bar are included. NEW Parts included are: Front bumper, splash aprons, TWO LARGE plastic totes of new small parts (hardware, latches, tail lights, wire harness), the correct side rear view mirror with hardware, AA Speedo cable, bumper hardware and clamps and more! The truck also includes a nice COMPLETE 3 ton Weaver boom, appears to have the original chain, pulleys, reproduction handle, original pulley block. This is a nice COMPLETE unit not all bent up or parts cut off of it like others I have seen. The front end, rear springs are mounted to the frame in its current state sitting on jack stands. NO Corners have been cut in the quality of parts and workmanship used in this project.
