1996 Lexus LX450- I have for sale a Lexus LX with 187k miles, the SUV is in good overall condition. Mechanically the truck is in excellent shape and needs nothing...no indicator lights on the dash, oil pressure is perfect and runs great. Tires have a lot of tread left all around (50-60 percent tread life or more). Also no smoke of any kind on start up and no funny knocks/noises from engine, these engines are tanks and will go forever with normal up keep on maintenance. Brakes and rotors are in good shape, less than a year old. This is also an accident free, clean carfax. The exterior of the truck is in good shape but does have the normal dents, dings, scratches of an 18-19 year old truck....but overall in good shape for age. No rust on the body anywhere...also the underside is in great shape with little surface rust and no frame rust. The interior driver seat was reupholstered in vinyl and looks nice but is a shade lighter than the original seat color (as you can see in the pictures). There are no funny smells, smoke or otherwise in the interior of vehicle. The passenger seat is in good shape, The dash is in great shape with no cracks, scrapes or anything. The back seat is in great shape as well as the 3rd row seat. Below are the only other Cons of this truck. If you are looking for a good LX450 that is in good shape but not perfect than this in the truck for you! Cons- 1) Driver and passenger window roll up slow but work 2)headliner is a little scuffed up but not a big deal in my opinion 3) moon roof only goes back half way (probably need to clean/grease the tracks) 4) Steering wheel squeaks when turning, probably needs to be greased. 5) power mirror work but the mirrors themselves shack when driving at highway speeds (need to be tightened I guess).....these are all little things that I never addressed because they didn't bother me but want buyer to be aware of everything. Pros- 1) Tires, brakes, rotors all is good shape 2) battery is only a couple years old 3) Runs awesome, always starts right up and cruises down the road at 75-80mph no problem 4) No rust on the body at all and very minimal on underside 4) This is a very solid truck that has not been abused. I have set the reserve very low for one of these trucks so it is priced to sell....the truck is sold as is and will to be picked up or have shipping arranged. I have sold several vehicles over the years on ebay and have perfect feedback so bid with confidence. Please ask any and all questions about the truck before bidding and please bid with intentions of buying...DO NOT BID IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BUY OR HAVE MONEY. Listed this truck on ebay auction 3-4 weeks ago and winning buyer couldn't come through with money. On Jan-11-15 at 08:27:58 PST, seller added the following information: Update- I had a friend of mine that owns upholstery shop redo the area of steering wheel that were worn in the 1st pictures of the wheel. Also had a brand new $155 interstate battery put in (the one in truck was fine but apparently not the correct size). Just wanted to let potential buyers aware of these items. thanks!
