Up for auction is this Custom 1964 Chevy El Camino. This Resto-Rod is a fantastic example of an El Camino with its classic body style. It is a true driver that runs great, and should take you anywhere you want to go. It gets great gas mileage for tours and this one-of-a-kind El Camino is also ready for shows. This Chevrolet had a body-off restoration some years ago, and about $9000 has been spent recently to replace many parts and refurbish the car. This car has just 32 miles on it since the refresh. The paint is PPG Ditzler "Hot Rod Black" from the Vibrance Collection. A perfect look for this classic. The windshield is new, and factory tinted. All other glass is custom-tinted. The exterior is in very nice shape. No dents or dings. The lettering and emblems are new. The rear bumper is also new, as are the tail lights and reflectors. This El Camino has a spray-on bedliner that looks great. The interior is all new, including the seats, headliner, door panels, carpet, visors and weather strips. The dash is custom with a gas gauge, speedo, tachometer, temperature, volts and oil gauges - all new. There are also custom lighted toggle switches. Everything works. There is also a Dino steering wheel. There is an all-new modern under-dash A/C system that blows ICE COLD. (There is no heater) This classic El Camino has a modern audio system with a Dual AM/FM/CD stereo with AUX input and USB charging port. It comes with a wireless remote control. It is custom mounted behind the seats with 2 speakers, and the system is pre-wired to add 2 more speakers under the dash if you choose. The motor is a professionally rebuilt 1964 283 cubic inch V8, 60 over with a mild cam. Components include an Edelbrock manifold, carb and air cleaner and Holly valve covers. There are Hedman headers with an all new 2 1/2 inch exhaust and performance mufflers - It sounds GREAT!. The aluminum 4 core radiator and electric fan will keep this beauty running cool. The motor is mated to a 4-speed Saginaw manual with a Hurst shifter. There are stock drum brakes with a new master cylinder. The braking system has been gone through and parts replaced where needed.
