Rare 1966 Pontiac Tempest Baby Blue 2-Door Hardtop Coupe! Original Pontiac 326 V8 engine with 2-speed automatic transmission . Great car, fun to drive, but needs TLC - a definite project car. Body is solid with no structural damage only a minor scrape on the front driver side fender, small dings on both bumpers and small rust spots. Glass is good with no known cracks. AM/FM radio with cassette player, seat belts, Cragar Super Sport Wheels, 4-Barrel Holley carburetor added circa 1996, A/C installed by the factory a year after production, but does not currently work. There are various rust spots on the body of the car. The seals around the windows will need replacing as the car leaks if left in the rain. (Car has been garage kept or covered to avoid this issue) The floorboards are rusted and will need to be replaced. The transmission leaks - last time driven in 2010, transmission fluid leaked out of the car within a week of filling. While the car was garage kept, rodents got into the vehicle and damaged the ceiling liner and soiled the upholstery. This will definitely require cleaning, but may require replacement of the upholstery as well. There are cracks in both the steering wheel and the dashboard. I have not tried to start the vehicle since 2010, but it ran well at that time. I purchased this vehicle from the original owner in 1993 and have replaced various things over the years including cam shaft, fuel pump, timing chain, intake manifold, valve covers, carburetor (4-Barrel Holley), and added dual exhaust. These cars continue to gain in popularity and value. Vehicle is located in Athens, GA and is available for local pickup only.
