Vehicle Detail
This is an original 1968 bronco I bought, but ended up buying a jeep last week. This was a hard to find bronco, as most were either restored and $30,000, wrongly restored, or just rusted non original Broncos for $6,000 and up, and all were cut. This color, I was told was a special order brittany blue.. The dso was a denver delivery, and has been in the southern part of colorado since new. When I bought it, the title showed 46,000 actual miles on it in 1988, and was used on a ranch most of the time. I do have a copy of the title showing the miles in 1988.The vehicle has passenger side dents as shown, and windshield frame has a slight bend. Included in the sale is a nice windshield frame, a complete passenger door, extra bumper, and all the trim, and a nos set of ford plastic hub centers. The dealer converted it to electric wipers, and has rear airshocks, and duel exhaust added at some time. It still has all the original keys, lights work, reverse lights, brake lights, hazards and blinkers. Heater fan blows, wipers work. The rockers have some rust, but mainly dented. The floors have surface rust as shown, and the most common inside fenders are clean, bubbling starting as shown. Has the factory choke and throttle on side, with auxiliary tank switch. Has 4:11 gears. The tailgate is clean, with a dent, no rust as most have. The fuel tank filers had some dirt, so I didn't try running fuel through them, just set a plastic gas can inside engine compartment, and it started right up, charging, with good oil pressure. Needs to be tuned, but was idling by itself, no smoke. I have drove it to my dads on the next property, drove it down my dirt road and back, 4x4 works good, as I had to drive it out of a drift today for pictures. Still has the old school skinny snow tires on it. Pass front has a slow leak. If you want a bronco to restore that someone else hasn't jacked with, and doesn't need to have all the panels cut out inside, just dents, this may be for you. This was a special order with- the color- side trim-auxilary fuel tank-4:11 gears-dash throttle- hubcaps. The reserve on this will be UNDER $5,000.00. Someone will win this good old bronco. I will include a buy it now, but once reserve is met, it will go away. Look at the price of the others on here. I can store it for 1 month free, then $75.00 per month. Clean clear colorado title in my name! Great original unrestored bronco, with original low miles, with very minimal rust.Check my feedback and please ask any and all questions. INCLUDED IS ALSO AN ORIGINAL 1968 BROCHURE WITH ORIGINAL DEALER POSTCARD FOR THE 68 BRONCO. I ALSO HAVE AN EXTRA PASS. SIDE HEADLIGHT RING THAT GOES WITH IT, DRIVERS SEAT COVER WILL NEED REPLACED, BUT IF I WAS RESTORING IT, I WOULD DO THEM ALL. IT WAS THE DRIVERS FRONT TIRE WITH SLOW LEAK, NOT PASSENGER. THE BATTERY IN IT IS OUT OF MY WIFES 2008 HIGHLANDER, SEEMS TO WORK OK, BUT LOOKS LIKE IT NEEDS SOME DISTILLED WATER ADDED, LOW CELL MAYBE, BUT IT HAS BEEN STARTING IT, AND WILL GET IT ON A TRAILER. REMEMBER, THIS SAT ON A FARM SINCE THE 90's. I HAVE SEEN OTHER THAT LOOK GOOD ON OUTSIDE, BUT THE SEAMS ALONG THE BODY LINE, AND AROUND THE DOORS AND HINGES WERE RUSTY, LOTS OF THEM!!! THIS ONE IS SOLID IN THOSE AREAS, AS I TOOK A PICTURE OF THE BODY SEAM BY GAS TANKS, AND INSIDE DOOR FRAME. I JUST COULDNT POST ALL THE OTHER PICTURES BY TNE ALLOWED 24. THIS WILL BE A GREAT PROJECT FOR SOMEONE, AND WILL SELL TO HIGHEST EBAY BIDDER!! THESE OLD UNCUT BRONCOS TAKE ME BACK TO THE EARLY 70'S WHEN WE USED TO GO HUNTING, AND ONE OF THE OLD GUYS IN HIS 60's AT THE TIME HAD A NEW ONE, AND IT WOULD GO THROUGH THE SNOW. ALWAYS REMEMBER THE LOOK OF THE HUBCAPS, AND SKINNY SNOW TIRES THAT WOULD GO ANYWHERE!! AND HE HAD THE OLD BRONCO GUY LOOK-- A FLANNEL HAT WITH EAR MUFFS, AND THE OLD SCHOOL RED AND BLACK HEAVY FLANNEL SHIRT WITH A DOWN VEST, RIFLE RACK IN SIDE WINDOW, THERMOS OF COFFEE, AND ANOTHER OF HOT CHILE! THATS WHAT THIS OLD BRONCO REMINDS ME OF. ANYWAYS, GOOD LUCK, ITS A GOOD OLD PROJECT!!
