1989 Chevrolet Caprice Estate wagon with 28,500 actual miles. Oldsmobile 307 CID (5.0L) V8 paired with an automatic transmission. Nicely equipped with power windows, locks and front seats, A/C and Cruise Control. One of the best colors with the "woody" look and those wire hubcaps are just pure class. This one had a great home meticulously maintained, always garage kept and ready to be enjoyed by the new owner. INTERIOR: Not much needs to be said, this is how I got it, could use a light detail to be near perfect. All buttons and options work as they should. All trim and plastic complete and not cracked or broken. Some very minor pitting in the chrome but to be expected due to age. All seats are still firm and very comfortable, third seat was never used, I had to remove the plastic for the pictures and the factory plastic is still on the floor. There is a initial name plate and compass adhered to the dash, both could probably be removed without damage. A/C and full climate controls work. Radio works but some speaker are not working. No sagging in the headliner. I did notice there was a couple water droplets on the interior in the rear driver's side by the third row seat after pressure washing the vehicle. So the long window might have a small leak in the seal. The interior is about as nice as you are going to find. EXTERIOR: The exterior does have some minor apologies, caused by the owner being an elderly man. Overall, its every bit as 28,000 miles nice. Extremely solid body and underneath. All paint is nice, could use a decent wax/detail to amaze, but does have some minor chips and light scratches (pic). All glass and lenses are complete without breaks or cracks. The "woody" vinyl is good, has light scrapes (pics), the chrome trim has some damage; passenger side front (pic) and driver's side rear (pic). The roof rack is nice. The front bumper has a light scrape (pic) and the rear has about 4" of the black rubber ripped off (pic), the piece is included. All hubcaps and beauty rings are present and in excellent shape. Although it has some minor flaws, it's still a beauty and gets a ton of attention driving down the road. MECHANICAL: Through the shop and ready to go, needs nothing, drives better than most new vehicles with 28,000 miles. All four matched tires have 65% or better tread. New battery and recent brakes all around. Straight down the road, smooth acceleration and shifting. I would drive this car today to CA without concern. PA emissions and inspection 05-2015, but will take new stickers without any work. All fluids are changed and up to date. The son of the owner is a mechanic and meticulously maintained this vehicle for his dad. As a driver there are few to none nicer, every time I drive this vehicle I am astounded. In finishing, if you spend some time and money to fix the vinyl and trim, you will have a true collectible that will give you many more years of reliability. I cannot imagine too many of these out there being this nice without being top dollar museum pieces. Also, I only sell vehicles under this username, all feedback are vehicle sells.
