Vehicle Detail

This is a near perfect 1971 CB175, UN-RESTORED! The bike was built in November of 1970. I carefully cleaned the carbs, petcock (new inner rubber etc.), cables and all wiring.Cables, levers, throttle, cleaned and lubed, new battery. Tank has been lined by a previous owner, and is spotless inside. All the chrome is virtually mint, original stickers on the head stock, swing arm and shocks. The seat is PERFECT and still soft like new. The turn signals are perfect, bulbs etc. same. Original levers. Mirror is flawless. I cleaned and lubed both switch assemblies.Photo shows where the headlight bucket cracked, as ALL those early Hondas do...Dammit! I carefully repaired it using special plastic Superglue and Baking Soda, and then two coats of plastic Epoxy, from the inside. All lights, signals, horn starter etc. work perfectly. High/Low, brake light, instruments, etc., perfect. The pipes are as new, couple of TINY marks or scratches, you really have to look! The wheels, brake hubs, chain sprocket etc. are exactly like I got it, aside from soap and water, I have not touched them. The tailight and rubber "Ducky" on the rear fender are mint. These parts have been replaced, New Battery, two NGK D8HA plugs, NEW, NOS Honda (Made in Japan, not "repro") foot peg rubbers, shift and kickstart rubbers, copper exhaust gaskets, lever adjusters, side stand "bumper", battery strap, that's it.New Motion Pro "Tygon" fuel lines, simply the best there is I bought this bike about eight years ago from a friend who had it stored here in the California desert in his insulated, and climate controlled workshop.Since then it has been sitting in my house. I honestly feel that this bike would be an instant contender in the Survivor or Un-Restored class at any bike show or Concours. Or, the perfect addition to any of you that have a collection of un-restored Honda or Japanese bikes. Anybody is welcome to come look, drool, and ride it around the block. I'm in Apple Valley, California. About 90 minutes Northeast of Los Angeles near Victorville, close to the I-15 freeway. If you need it shipped, pick a company and have them come over. I can deliver the bike in my van in most of Southern California for $100.00 to $150.00 to cover gas, mileage and a few hours of driving. I have a starting bid of $2000.00, I honestly think that it's worth at least that..! I don't know what else to say, look closely at the Hi-Rez photos and that should explain most of it. Any questions, CALL ME! 1-760-242-3490, 'till midnight. Cheers, Joe Bonnello On Dec-26-14 at 17:58:05 PST, seller added the following information: Wagre, Funny you should ask, as I just picked up the title after EIGHT years from my buddy Jerry, who I bought the bike from! The title is from 1986, I'm serious, and is from Petoskey, Michingan. And yes it's signed on the back releasing interest in the bike. However, whoever buys this bike can go to the DMV, AutoClub, or any of the hundreds of private registration places. Here in Apple Valley, California, there are four places within ten miles of my house. ( NOT to be confused with some of the "Title" companies that charge a fortune for a new title.) Also, in California, as the bike is from a different state, you are simply re-titling it in your name and there are NO back fee penalties. Also, as told directly to me by the California DMV, AAA representative, Aileens Registration (local), and the DMV web-site, after SEVEN years vehicle records are dropped form the data base. If you have not filed a Certificate of Non-Operation (free), and are re-registering the bike, you must pay back fees. This bike is not either of those, it's just a new registration, that's all. I don't know what state you are in and if you need to pass technical inspection. As I mention in the ad, EVERYTHING works perfectly on the bike and will breeze through any inspection! I am going to photograph the title and "attempt" to up-date the Ebay ad. I ALWAYS include a photo of the paperwork on every bike I sell, so this time I'm a few days late. Hope this helps, and anyone with questions can call me at 760-242-3490. Cheers, Joe Bonnello
