Up for your consideration is a 1997 Ford Explorer with 186,000 miles on her. The previous owner stated that the transmission was rebuilt 25,000 miles ago and that the vehicle has sat for about a year but was registered and insured for that entire time. Here is a list of issues that I know about; Left rear break line leaks so the breaks are very soft. Has rust/rot in rockers below rear doors on both sides. Right rear leaf spring shackle needs to be replaced, it is very rusty. Interior needs a good cleaning, I don't believe there are any rips in the seats. Left rear door does not open, and the drivers side look will only unlock with the key. Truck will need to be towed because of the breaks. I do not know of any other mechanical issues with the truck. I bought the truck to help out a friend with some Christmas cash and just trying to get it sold and off my property. There is no warranty offered it is being sold as is where is. The buyer is responsible for all shipping expenses. I can store vehicle for up to a week maybe longer if needed but, you must make arrangements with me before you bid on it. I ask that the winning bidder contact me within 24 hrs. of the end of the auction and make a nonrefundable deposit of $60.00 with paypal that will cover the cost of the auction, should for some reason you back out of the sale.
