Vehicle Detail

This is my 1952 Ford Crestline 2 door hardtop resto-mod custom cruiser that has undergone many upgrades. A partial list of the upgrades are: 351 c.i. engine, C-6 transmission, 8 inch rear end. Three inch lowering blocks in the rear give the car the great stance. It has a Speedway adjustable proportioning valve for the brakes, an Edelbrock carburetor with electric choke, and a newer desert cooler radiator with thermostatically controlled electric fan. Never had an overheating problem. It has a 21 circuit painless wiring harness (air conditioner and power window wires are tucked under the dash in case someone wants to add them), ratcheting floor shifter, all new gauges installed inside the original instrument cluster (only the speedometer does not work), CD player is mounted inside the original radio body so the dash is not cut anywhere, sunvisors show their age and you might want to replace them. Outside, it has 1953 Ford rear quarter trim (looks better than the 52), period correct metal cruiser skirts, and a custom 'crown' on the roof that exactly matches the trim around the rear windshield. It also has front fender gravel guards, accessory body mounted rear bumper extensions, and Oldsmobile tail light lens for that 50's rocket look. One of the best modifications was to replace the old Ford 351 distributor with a Chevrolet HEI distributor. This did away with the problem ford ignition. The HEI shaft was machined to Ford specs and is a drop-in perfect fit. I bought an extra HEI module years ago just in case and it is still in the glove box unused. That 50,000 volt HEI fires up the Ford every time. It has newer exhaust with glass packs, stock 15 inch wheels and wide whites (need replaced soon). The Ford has never let me down except for a fuel pump a few months back (replaced). The 351 is a work horse and the c-6 is dang near bullet proof. Minimal rust was removed when painted and no evidence of any rust shows even after all these years painted. The trunk lid and lip inside are often a problem and this one is zero rust, hood looks good underneath as well. This is not a show car but is a cool cruiser that looks everywhere. NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS PLEASE. CAR IS FOR SALE LOCALLY AND I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END AUCTION EARLY. A $500 DOLLAR NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS DUE IMMEDIATELY.On Dec-16-14 at 14:22:53 PST, seller added the following information: Added pictures of the engine and interior as requested. Thanks! On Dec-20-14 at 17:34:23 PST, seller added the following information: I am in Tupelo, Mississippi. Once the car is paid in full, I can deliver this car anywhere in the lower 48 states for 46 cents per mile from Tupelo, Mississippi to your location, which is my cost in fuel round trip. Example, if you are 500 miles from Tupelo, delivery cost would be $230; 1000 miles away would be $460. Thanks.
