This is a true one owner garage find,been on jackstands in the original owners garage since 1976.It was bought new here in Bakersfield Calif. and has been here since.The mileage is 63,921 and is verified by original owner.This car is in incredible shape,no rust anywhere.There are some scratches in the original green paint as you can see in the pics along with some chips and crack in glass,the chrome and stainless are nice.The car runs and drives very well it is a true survivor.Since taking posession we have: replaced the fuel tank,fuel pump,and rebuilt the carb.Had the original radiator recored with 3 row core,new water pump,belt,radiator and heater hoses,thermostat,and replaced freeze plugs on side of block.Next we replaced the brake shoes,wheel cylinders,brake hoses,master cylinder,resurfaced all four drums and repacked wheel bearings,and at that time replaced the original bias ply tires with new radial tires.All new tune-up parts were replaced consisting of spark plugs,spark plug wires,points and condensor,distributor cap,rotor and coil,as well as a new 6 volt battery.The valve cover gasket and pushrod cover gasket was also replaced.The trans pan gasket,trans mount,and torqueball seal kit was also replaced.There are no leaks anywhere.Everything works,speedo gauges,windows roll up and down as they should.This Buick is ready to drive with no mechanical issues that we are aware of at this time.As you can see in the pictures the interior is all new and very nice.The original upholstery was just too fragile to save but still looked good but wouldn't have withstood much use.We think this looks way better than just the plain gray that was in it plus originally it had a mat but now has carpet.The pictures tell the story please look at them close as there is nothing to hide.Please remember this is a 64 year old car and other than the work we listed here it is original and unrestored,so keep that in mind.There is no warranty expressed or implied the buick is sold as is.Please ask questions or come and inspect the car in person we have a hoist to lift the car so can be inspected underneath.If not able to come in person send a representative to inspect the car.This is an auction so bid what your comfortable with,but please don't ask the reserve it's not fair to other bidders.I can be reached at 1-661-333-7557 call or leave a voicemail anytime.The title is still in original owners name I have title from the day it was bought.On Dec-07-14 at 07:32:16 PST, seller added the following information: I failed to mention in the description that this is a Special Deluxe not a base Special as it has additional chrome trim and automatic transmission that the base did not come with.
