1964 C10 Custom Cab Short bed VERY RARE AND DESIREABLE C10 Truck has all the right boxes checked: Arizona Truck minimal rust Short bed V8 w/ car 4 speed Large back window Yes it runs and drives but probably could use a tune up before making it a daily driver. Also, we took the gas tank out to clean and are running It off a small container of gas under the hood at the moment. Figure why put it all back in, chances are the next owner will remove it all again during the restoration. The truck was parked for about 5 yrs prior to us getting it. OUR 100% feedback speaks for itself and many of our feedback are from about 15 cars we sold just this past year here on EBay. We put more time and effort into our ads making it much easier for the potential buyers to bid with confidence. NOT MANY OF THESE trucks left with original sheetmetal still like this one. Although, the trucks been painted about 3 times or more. I cant see an signs of bondo or previous rust repairs on the body. Arizona trucks are time capsules half the time and the best kind to restore. First thing it needs, is a complete underdash and under hood wiring harness !! DRIVETRAIN: currently installed is a GM 350 crate motor from about 10 yrs ago. It starts and runs, but runs a little rough, but NO smoke or knocks etc. The motor is suppose to have less then 20k miles on it. They did do some basic bolt ons like headers, aluminum intake and Holley 4v and HEi. Im sure the carb may need some cleaning out too to run better. Starts pretty much every time on its own when we move it. Trans is something out of a car, a nice 4 speed with car gearing, which is a nice touch. I think I saw a scattershield too under there. Clutch feels good too as do the brakes. Factory 12 bolt truck rearend out back. Wheels and tires are mismatched and old. Sorry, not sure which version crate motor this is, but possibly their 300hp version. INTERIOR: was restored at one time with some more chrome then stock but its seen better days. The very worst part about the interior, is the wiring Under the dash. The first thing Id do if I was putting this truck back on the road was buy a new complete under dash and under hood wiring harness. Its been hacked up over the yrs. The interior does have alot of good usable parts still and could be done in a weekend. Dr side door panel not seen in the pics comes with the truck, its just not bolted on. Dr side window is loose too. Toggle switch was installed for cranking purposes, but the key still has to be on to start it. Factory bench seat in decent shape under the old fabric. EXTERIOR: body for its age is very clean, and youd have to look hard to find any rust on this truck. Did see some one one of the lower front fenders, but thats about it. The rest is more surface if any. It does have some bumps and dents around the body, but nothing real serious. The chrome grill is in nice shape and it does come with some extra pieces of trim not seen in the pics below. The Custom Cabs have some of the nicest trim and lines on these yr trucks I think. Wood in the bed, looks original and old, but again little to no rust on the body there, just on the metal strips between the wood. SUSPENSION: basically bone stock suspension thats been taken care of over the years. No weird rattles or noises, but it drives around the parking lot like an old truck, Im sure it needs bushings and shocks to make a nicer ride, but then again, some people in the restoration process would remove all the stock stuff for more modern pieces too.
