Selling my 1967 Lincoln convertible. It is a great example of the rarest of the suicide door Lincolns. 1967 is the last year for the convertibles Only 2000 were produced, of that there an estimated only 200 remaining. This Lincoln originally a white car is stunning with its recent high end silver paint job. Retaining all original number matching drive train, it gives the look of a resto mod while not compromising the value which will keep increasing every year. The seats and roof have just been recently completed and are in excellent condition. The car is in such great condition with very little use that the rest of the interior is original and it looks great. The roof works perfectly which in itself is rare. The only issues with the car is the passenger windows are not working nor is the radio, probably a quick fix but I have not had the time to look into it, they have worked in the past and have just recently stopped. The electric antenna works very well. New carburetor just added. The engine fires right up and purrs very nicely with a smooth idle. The sound coming out of the new exhaust system is beautiful. The paint and chrome are easily 9/10. Originally from Vermont where it was used sparingly, often in the local shriners parade. It was brought down to Florida about 7 years ago where it was gone over from bumper to bumper with no expense spared replacing any needed parts. The Mileage on the odometer is 24 494. there’s no way I can say it’s the original mileage, but with the condition of the interior and overall quality of the underside and engine compartment coupled with the fact it spent most the year in storage, would lead me to think its very possible. The drive is like no other car I have ever driven, it floats down the road with power to spare. The comfort can only be compared to relaxing on a couch while cruising the streets. When I take the car for a spin I have complete confidence, it drives amazing starts every time. Its definitely much higher than driver quality but not a trailer queen. That being said its not far off if you wanted to turn it into one This car gets a ton of looks wherever it goes, plan on lots of questions whenever your stopped anywhere, even red lights. At car shows or gatherings it is always the star. These cars are rarely seen and always gather a crowd. When these cars were new they marketed for the very rich and quite a few celebrities among them. It had all the best luxury and technology of its time. There car has always been garage kept and is available for inspection. I will post a video once the weather cooperates long enough for me totake the car out. Hopefully tomorrow.
