Hi! This Z is in great, unrestored, fully functioning condition. I purchased this car to keep but do not have dry storage for it. It would be sad to see it fail more after being taken such good care of for so long. For 166 detailed pictures send me an email and I will send you the link to my photobucket account. I could not get the link to my photobucket account to work on this auction. If you have a recommendation, please let me know. :) The car is mostly original. There are some spots that are rusty. My claim is that with this car you see what you get. There hasn't been a shady resto/ rust cover-up to make a quick sale on E-bay. There is limited or no rust in the important areas such as the floor pans, frame rails and battery box area. The seats are leather and smell good! Everything works, including, get ready for it, the rear defroster!!!! The car had an aftermarket louver on it most of its life and ALL of the heating elements are intact and in almost-new condition! I am not sure if I took a picture of the bottom edge of the hatch but it is in very good condition as well. The inside, plastic, tailight, panel is excellent. I have the door escutions but forgot to install them for the photos. :( The dash has one crack in the middle. The scuff plates do not have the original vinyl on them. There should be pictures of just about every part of the car. If you need a picture of something not on my photobucket, let me know and I will get it for you! The rear wheel cylinders are new Nissan units. I did not check the current odometer reading. I will do so ASAP. It does not have particularly low mileage but for any car driven for over 40yrs, what difference does it make. lol The engine and drivetrain run out excellent. The engine is very quiet and the trans. shifts smoothly. The clutch is fairly new. The transmission is a version 1 from a 1979 or earlier Z. The engine is the original and matches the number plate. The struts are KYB and are new. Driving impression. The car is very quiet inside while driving(as compared to other 240Zs). The car accelerates on par with an average 240Z. Brakes work excellent. Steering is solid. The exhaust is quiet and very little gases leak into the passenger compartment(rare). The choke cables work well and the console is not broken. The ash tray lid has a broken hinge on one side. If I have good one you can have it. I will keep looking. U-joints are in good condition and the differential is quiet. The heater panel is NOT broken nor is the map light bezel. The glove box is in good condition. The horn button has one crack in the back plastic but holds tight to the horn ring. The tires are BFG G-Force Sport with about 50% tread. The Weds wheels are in good condition with the right rear having some rash. That is all for now. Call if you have any questions about the 240Z.
