This is an amazing original survivor, 1971 AMC Hornet. It has a 232 straight 6 that runs as new. The car has been in one family since purchased. It has been garaged all its life until this year when it was moved outside to make room for storage for one of their children's things. That's when I spotted it. The car has all its original paint. The body is almost perfect with a few flaws but the car is original, garaged and mint. It's in a desirable blue color with a dark blue interior. I've changed all the fluids, given the car a full tune up, replaced the fuel pump and rebuilt the carburetor. It sports the original Goodyear Polyglass 70s with excellent tread. If you're looking for a quality Hornet...THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST ORIGINAL HORNETS IN THE COUNTRY!!!!! Feel free to schedule a test drive. First person to come see it will have to have it. As a collector myself I appreciate the originality of the car. You can restore a car but they're only new once and this one is still practically brand new! The undercarriage looks immaculate with only minor surface flash. Again, this car has been garaged since new and has not has not been ravaged by our tough winters or salted roads. It is immaculate.
