Here is a great example of a solid and complete 79 Trans Am Coupe with 403 olds. Fully optioned T/A with power windows, delux interior, lighted trunk, heated rear glass, and a sweet (nearly) period-correct AM/FM Cassette Sony head unit. T-Tops are great, but so is not having any leaks or rust! There is NO rust on this car, just one spot of surface rust as shown on the trunk lid. Paint is not perfect, but the body is very straight. It's an A/C car, but not currently connected. Has 3.51 rear end. Recently overhauled: Recently rebuilt engine and transmission - drives like a dream with plenty of power and rumble. In the last month or so: all fresh fluids and filters - Coolant, trans, power steering, engine oil, fuel filter. New belts, new hoses, new fuel pump, rebuilt original quadra-jet carb, new exhaust, new cats, new flowmasters. Engine was carefully installed, not just a quick spray job. All grade-8 hardware and stainless hose clamps used. New ignition wires, battery cables, thermostat, exhaust and intake gasketsInterior is complete and original and in great shape for being 35 years old, but could use minor attention. All plastics are present and in good condition. Property fabricated new hard fuel lines and trans cooler lines.
