Selling my 1980 Honda iIvic 1500 DX Hatchback with Hondamatic Transmission. This car was purchased new ooff the showroom floor in 1980 by my grandmother from Sunny King Honda in Anniston, AL. She used it to run errands around her small town. It has 49,XXX original miles on the original engine. This car has always been in my family After my grandmother died, my parents had it for a while, then it went to me. It gets 36 miles to the gallon - $20 fills it up. Tires are okay, some fender rust issues because my parents live in the NC mountains. Front drivers seat has some tears - see photo - we keep sheepskin covers on the front seats. Rear upholstery is loose, but still all there. Everything works on it - no airbags, no radio, no air conditioner, no power anything. We recently put a new carberator in it and I drove it home from Asheville, NC to Birmingham, AL with no issues. It runs a little cold and like most older cars takes the right touch. Clean title in hand. Two original keys & owners manual. Reminds me of driving my first Volkswagon ! Fun little car to drive and great restoration project ! Hey - its a Honda ! No surprise it is still around !!
