1960 Willys CJ 5 Truly a barn find. Bought from original owner's estate in Colorado. Used it for hunting and going to town. If it was snowing or raining, he didn't take it out. Body is in GREAT original shape. Not much other than surface rust. No bondo that I could find. All the telltale signs look really good. Toolbox is super solid, bed is solid, frame is solid. I have restored a lot of old jeeps and this by far is one of the best bodied old jeeps I have ever come across. Motor runs and clutch and tranny/transfer are good. I drove it around the barnyard and it seemed pretty tight. Looks like the old guy started doing some restoration because I see some new leaf springs and other things on her. It was missing the tailgate and windshield so I have some included although they are not original and have some rust on them. Glass and seals are good however. There is also a roll bar which is not original but is included. Have not gone thru brakes but don't look bad. Not sure what is needed but they do not work at this time. This jeep is 95% there and would make an excellent father/son-daughter project. For sale locally and Ebay listing may be removed at any time. Sold as is where is but will assist in loading. If you are more of a mechanical guy and not so much into body work, this absolutely is the jeep for you.
