Here is a one year only 1984 Honda Cr500. It is is ready to race with 100 octane fuel sitting in the tank. The starting drill is simple:Lay it over and wait for fuel to leak out the overflow, stand it up and kick it like you mean it and one or two kicks to fire the bike. It is a 2 owner bike. The first owner was a Honda 2 Stroke fanatic. TOTAL motor rebuild with less than 2 tanks of fuel since burnt. Re-builder added a few things to tame this beast. Thicker head gasket and a spacer between the carb and the Boyesen reed cage. Plug has a longer reach to take advantage of the extra space of the thicker head gasket. EVERYTHING is tight and ALL wear items are ready to roll. From swing arm bearings to wheel bearings to tires and brakes to chain and sprocket are good to go. Original tank and front fender. Has a DG pipe with not a blemish and what I think is original silencer The side panels and rear fender are replacements. Wheels are straight. Tires are about new. Frame has a couple dings under the engine. They are in the pics. Sorry for missing the full left side of the bike. Was trying to wrap up the photo shoot before the football game!!
