NOw has a 68 motor with date code c148 and cast number 970071. From My understanding this was a HO engine with around 340 horespower.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bWfUX7y1cg this is a link to show the engine running. I have not had it out messing with it after this.I am putting car up for local sale. I did charge battery up the other day and tried to start it cranked over but would not start. So I got some gas and it runs smooth as silk as long as you are spraying gas in the carb.. so I say a fuse or something has blown to the fuel pump or a wire has came unhooked.. The carb is about 3 months old it costed 350.00 dollars. It has a 2 row radiator brand new that costed another 225.00. It has newer brakes and lines. The Does have the shaker bottome that fits on the carb but no lid. This car is a true ws6 and it is in good shape.. One fender on passnger side has a rust hole the size of a 50 cent piece. The two front pans needs to be patched or replaced it has original sheet metal .. rear are in great shape. area around the ttops are in great shape trunk is in great shape. Frame has been por no issues with it.. THis is a great oppurtinity for someone that can do there own work and make this car great. The transmisson I am selling as non working. The car was moving under its own power but not alot of torque.. The shifter cable is not long enough and non of the vacums are attached. I took it to a shop and they said that the transmissoin may not be any good. But they did not know how to hook anything up... that being said it may be something simple it may be somthing you have to get rebuilt. It has 500 dollars of digital gauges in the car you will have to get some of the sending units to get everything right. I really honestly do not know what to say so ask questions and I will try to find out If I do not know.. I am selling this car because I am moving to flordia and theres no room for it.. the city will not allow you to work on cars out in the street.. WHich is stupid.... anyways if you want to call me you can message me and I will let you have my number.oh it has new door seals looks like trunk seals.. seats are in pretty good shape.... it will need a console.. oh car was a 4 speed and someone has changed it over to an automatic.. They did not set the gear shifter in the right place that is why I think the main issue is.....No reserve most everything is there. some of the stuff may not be pictured if there something you do not see and please ask it may be there..
