On Nov-21-14 at 12:12:38 PST, seller added the following information: Up for sale is a 1965 Pontiac Catalina 2+2 with the original 421 3-speed. The car has sat under a shed for the better part of 32 years and the years haven't been too kind to it. I'll start with the bad news first, as you can see by the pictures the lower part of the quarters need to be replaced due to rust. The floor, trunk, and gas tank are in the same shape, the floor and trunk resemble swiss cheese but the drive shaft tunnel seems to be pretty solid. As you can see by the pictures the car needs complete restoration as you would expect from a car that has sat on the ground for over 30 years.Now for the good news. The car is completely original, from the air cleaner down to the hurst shifter. It has its original numbers matching 421 (WG block code) with the original 3 speed attached. On top of that the car is a factory Star Light Black with red interior car. I hooked a battery up to the car and believe it or not it actually cranked and ran, so the car does run and can be driven onto a trailer (not guaranteed to stop though).Hopefully the pictures will lend perspective to the cars condition, but if you need more specific pictures feel free to message me and I will do my best to take and send more pictures.
