1979 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce shed find. This is a non running New Mexico/ Arizona car. I found it at an estate sale. The car was parked after the clutch hydraulics failed. (see pic of engine compartment surface rust). The car is complete. The original catalytic converter is removed and a bypass in place. Cat comes with car. The only rust problem is in the spare tire well, it is not rusted through and can be easily repaired.(see pic) The good!! Very straight body no problematic rust (no floorboard rust), Complete drive train( engine turns freely), Set of 5 Turbina wheels, includes nice set of door panels, coolant bottle,oil pan gaurd and old school roll bar. Taillights are nice, has all lights and markers, Good steering wheel, pods and console, Convertible top bow is sound, clear title, and All glass is good and this car is perfect to build into a chrome bumper car. Take your great motor and interior out of a rusty car and install it into a low mile, sound chassis. The bad! Sun damaged dash,seats,carpet, top is destroyed. there is old body work behind the passengers door that is cracking. The Spica fuel injection thermostatic activator has been replaced with a Shankel "Sure Start Device". The clutch master and slave cylinders are removed and must be restored with new. A battery is not included. This Alfa has not run for at least ten years. I would freshen up the existing motor before use.
