Vehicle Detail
This is a beautiful example of German engineering, The car is in very good condition considering it is 30 years old. I have driven the car for some time now, the engine has a noise that sounds like it is coming from the valve train, could be a lifter or worse, but as of right now the car runs without any issues, it doesn't overheat or stall and the transmission feels strong but since the engine is making a noise bid assuming that you will need to perform work on the engine. The interior is in average condition, the door panels are loose in a couple of spots and the seats have signs of wear from use. The body and hardtop are in very good condition, the second owner changed the read modelplate to 560SL but the car is a 380Sl. There is one spot behind the driver's side door that looks like the paint is chipping, one scratch above the left headlight, and one spot about the size of a golfball that looks like surface rust under the paint. I am the third owner, the second owner only owned the car for about a year and had to sell it for financial reasons. The first owner put almost all of the 263,000 miles on it and he said that 90% of them were highway miles as he commuted almost 50 miles a day combined for almost twenty years in it. I have described the vehicle as best as I can if you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will answer them to the best of my abilities.
