1967 300SE; restoration project; one of only ~230 total sold in the last year of production - even fewer coupes; near hand built; 1961 model year 112 chassis; sunroof; power steering; AC; automatic transmission; air suspension; burled wood dash; leather; Becker Europa AM/FM; M189 6-cylinder big block in-line engine; last running in 2006 ~143K with no issues (my father's car; he was the second owner - Laguna Beach; first owner - Newport Beach); spare M189 engine (from another 300SE; used with ~30K miles @1970s - stored in the garage for possible future use); rebuilt transmission (1 in the car <10K; 1 in garage 00-K), non-rebuilt transmission (1); hood (used - no rust); trunk (used - no rust); top replacement panel (used - no rust); spare parts for restoration (mirrors, air suspension boot rubbers, etc etc); as seen in the pictures, the trunk, hood & body all have significant rust; Dad's pride and joy; an engineer, at age 85 he started to restore it but never got very far; at age 93 Dad is now gone and his restoration project remains unfinished - a beautiful car that needs a new loving home and a full restoration.
