Due to some emails I have received I just want to clarify that when I say NO DRIVETRAIN that means it has NO ENGINE, NO TRANSMISSION, and NO DRIVESHAFT***Please READ entire ad before placing bids*** 1979 Chevy Suburban Silverado Trailering Special (Rare Package) Located in Phoenix, AZ Will end auction early for local buyers with cash. Buyer is responsible for shipping. This was an original 454 V-8 Suburban/ Automatic transmission 2wd, currently no drivetrain-Only 50,000 original miles on the body. Box A title. NOT a Salvage. This is NOT a beat up work truck. Good solid body, had custom paint which is now custom faded. No rust, perfect body. Slight bend in hood which is common on these trucks. I was planning on installing a steel Cowl Hood which costs $400 new. Best part of this car is the door panels, they are flawless and hard to find. Headliner is good but sagging. There are a couple cracks in dash pad. Seats are nice and soft but have some tears. Factory roof rack. I bought this as a project and planned on restoring it back to a 454cu V-8. I know where you can get a running 454cu V-8 for $1,000 as well. It is originally a 2 wheel drive truck so it can easily be lowered if you are into that sort of thing.
