Up for sale is our 2001 Honda Accord LX. The car is in overall good condition. The body has a few minor dings here and there but overall the exterior is pretty sharp! Its has new paint and shines like a new one! The car just had an oil change. Car also has brand new tires on it with less then 500 miles on them. The interior is clean but has a spot here and there, id give it about a 7 out of 10. The car runs and drives good and we drive it every day so the mileage will go up. The car has cold AC and hot heat and everything works as it should light, radio, mirrors, lock, windows, cruise, etc. However there is something with the transmission I will try to explain. It shifts slowly or slower from first to second versus the other gears. I don't know that I would call it a slipping situation more like it just takes its time going into second. the transmission fluid is cherry red and not burnt. It has done it as long as I have had the car. its very consistant and is not temperature related. it does the same thing on a cold day as it does on a hot day. A friend of mine said it was probably a transmission shift solenoid. However I know nothing about transmissions and I am not going to mess with it. It drives and shifts into every gear every time. Most the time its not really even noticeable. I just want the new buyer to be aware of it. The car absolutely drives fine it just has a slight hesitation when it shifts from 1st to 2nd. Again we drive it everyday and its been doing this for atleast a few thousand miles.
