I've had this truck for 3 years now. I'm the 3rd owner (documented). It's period correct. I removed the original 216 and replaced it with a rebuilt 235 engine. I replaced the split wheels with new powder coated steel wheels and new radial tires. I have the original engine and wheels/tires that will go with the truck, along with many many many parts. This is a frame off build with all brakes, suspension and drive train gone through. The steel on the bed is new along with new bed wood. All panels were taken down to bare metal, body work complete and painted with the original color paint (since I could not decide on a color...argh). Interior gauges and seat were rebuilt along with all new glass and seals replaced. New headliner and all new wiring harness installed. This truck is very sound and will make somebody a nice ride to last for many years. This truck has Hadley air horns and they are cool and LOUD. Converted to electric wipers (The original vacuum wiper motor works and will go with the truck) The truck still runs on 6V and starts very easy so I had no reason to complete the easy swap to 12V. That's up to the next owner. I tried to keep as much original steel as I could, such as bumpers (was tempted to go after china chrome, but didn't) and running boards. There is ZERO rust on this truck. ZERO! I have all the documentation along with some very cool items that were from the original owner in the 50s. Thank you for looking.
