Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is one of the most coveted dodge trucks ever built. It is a 1964 Dodge CSS/HPP. This truck originally came with a 426 street wedge engine and a 727 push button transmission. Unfortunately this drivetrain has been swapped out for a Chevy 350 and TH350 trans. Also the factory 3.91 sure grip rear end was swapped out with an 80's ram charger axel. The body of the truck is pretty strait with the exception of a couple dings and scratches. I have taken pics of the major damage. Honestly the paint job is not great. Has factory bucket seats and console. The truck has a clean and clear AZ title in my name, however, the truck is currently located in Artesia, NM. I am more than happy to assist with shipping if you make the arrangements. Here is some additional info fop the truck:-I bought this truck in November 2012 from Long Beach, CA-I drove this truck 500 miles from AZ to NM-currently located in Artesia, NM-looks good from afar, but not a great paint job-has correct motor mounts for the 426, just modified for the 350-power steering box has a leak so no PS-truck is very strait-bed is rhino lined-no rust or be seen-3.91 posi rear end was switched out for ram charger axel-drivetrain is Chevy 350 with TH350 trans-push buttons are still there, but cable is cut'64 front end was switched out with '66 bug eye headlights.-has the correct speedo and 6k tach but tach not hooked up. -good windows, no cracks-tail gate in good shape, chains broke so I removed them both $500 deposit due within 24 hours after auction has ended. Full payment and pickup due within 7 days. Truck is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction early. On Nov-02-14 at 21:12:20 PST, seller added the following information: The torque rods were removed when rear end was swapped out by previous owner. Frame mounts for the torque rods are still present.
