This 1991 Volvo 240 was purchased at Dyer & Dyer Volvo in Atlanta 23 years ago. It has remained in metro-Atlanta and North Georgia since Day 1, and has averaged only approximately 5,500 miles a year. The pictures you see of this vehicle are EXACTLY how this vehicle is in person. There has been no detailing designed to hide cosmetic flaws that would be apparent to you a few weeks after buying it. There is also no question about the accident history or level of care for this vehicle either. This vehicle has been garage kept and has a condition that is more like a 3 year old Volvo 240 than a 23 year old version. The oil has been recently changed, and the lack of paint fade inside and out is indicative of the fact that this Volvo 240 has been well kept (I am providing plenty of pictures to show the real -life condition of this Volvo 240). Engine, transmission, and the overall powertrain are in excellent running order. The flaws are minor and are limited to the following. The light out sign will sometimes appear and then disappear. All the lights and signals are working fine, but this is intermittent problem is one that should be familiar to most brick enthusiasts. There is minor fade on one headlight (again, see pictures). The wheel covers do have minor scuff marks on the outer edge. There is also one minor piece of plastic on the trunk that is missing on the left hand side which is purely cosmertic. Everything else on this vehicle is in good working order. From the air conditioning, to the power windows, to the original circa 1991 Volvo radio. The dashboard and door panels are in fantastic shape, and all the seats have minimal to no wear. This 1991 Volvo 240 has approximately 135,000 miles at the moment. I can meet folks at Hartsfield Airport. However, I would ask that you contact me before booking your flight since my schedule may be different from yours for whatever reason. Keep in mind that I have 100% positive Ebay feedback for well over 10 years now because I go out of my way to be as honest and exact in my descriptions as possible. However, I do charge a premium for aggravation (no I am not kidding). So please don't be a flake or an irritating soul. Also this is not the perfect vehicle for your grandchild. It's an old Volvo that has not been sold in the USA for over 20 years. I would much rather sell this to a brick enthusiast who has the time and interest in keeping it in good running order. So please, do not bid on this vehicle unless you are willing to invest in an older vehicle. Not that the odometer cluster is no longer working. Again, another common problem for older Volvos. However the Carfax history is indicative of a car that has approximately 135,000 miles at this point. Here is the complete mileage history for the last eleven years.The current mileage on the odometer is 131,723 miles so I would approximate the time of it not working as somewhere between late 2013 and early 2014.. Also consider the fact that I'm not selling a Volvo with a large portion of it's life with no mileage history (a common tactic on Ebay for sellers of older vehicles) and I'm also not paying an odometer place to have it repaired so that I can pretend it has lower mileage.
