Vehicle Detail

This is being relisted because the last bidder was a deadbeat.... the person claimed that their kid bid on it. With that being said, SERIOUS bidders only! All deadbeats will be reported to eBay. You’re looking at one of the nicest 1971 Ford F-250 sport custom camper special’s out there. Let’s start from the top. It has only 85,000 original miles and a very well cared for 85k! It was repainted sometime in the past 20 years but was well prepped and was a high quality job. The inside of the bed floor shows that it has done some work with the usual dents and scratches. I just put in a ½ inch thick bed mat to help prolong bed life. There are no rusty patches or holes in the bed, just liked the idea of it. The truck has all of the options that you could hope to find on a truck like this such as, 360 V8, Power Steering, Power Brakes, C6 Auto Trans with a tow and go shift kit for positive shifting, and 3:73to1 Power Lock rear differential. Most of these trucks came with 4:10 non-locking diff’s which can prove useless on wet grass or winter snow driving. The engine runs like a watch with a newer Holley carb and recent tune up. It has a small drivers side exhaust leak but dissipates when the engine warms up. This truck runs and drives so well I would have no reservations on driving it to New York from my home in Washington state. All gages and lights work as they should. The insides of the cab are near perfect; from the tear free floor mat, door panels and head liner. With the exception of the seat and a small dash pad crack around the speaker grill you won’t be disappointed. I tried to get the original seat material from SMS auto fabrics in Canby Oregon, but they were out of stock. I thought it would look like hell to put just any old vinyl in it so I decided to leave it as is with the small wear tears on the driver’s side. The truck was recently aligned and front shocks were replaced with KYB gas adjust shocks. Truck was tuned recently along with oil and filters. The only thing that the truck currently needs is a pair of tail pipes. The rest of the exhaust system is in good shape. This truck is truly a pleasure to drive, so feel confident about bidding. I’ve looked over the past few weeks on e-bay at so called survivors that truly are not. 120k miles, miss matched interiors, shot paint, and worn out mechanicals. Why punish yourself on buying a worn out truck when all you really want is to turn the key, and drive trouble free. 85,000 is truly low mileage for a truck like this, so next time you see the term “ Survivor “ make sure that you use a truck of this quality as the mark. Winner of auction needs to make pick up and transportation arrangements within one week of auctions end. Payment is to be made by bank to bank transfer only within 3 days from auctions end; unless other arrangements are made with me, thanks! Please email if you want the pics emailed directly to you. The pictures on the eBay server do not do this truck justice. On Oct-30-14 at 16:59:48 PDT, seller added the following information: I have included additional pictures in my row of pictures, at the far right, that can now be enlarged.
