The Vehicle..........1999 Volvo S70 All-Wheel-Drive sedan in white with a beige leather interior. This car is in overall GOOD CONDITION. It RUNS AND DRIVES VERY WELL and will take you anywhere you need to go. It has a completely CLEAN CARFAX report. Features include the turbo 5 cylinder engine, automatic transmission, all-wheel-drive, power steering and brakes, ice cold air conditioning, power sliding sunroof, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, cruise control, heated power seat, tilt & telescopic steering wheel, delay wipers, am-fm stereo, alloy wheels and much more. With some repairs, this will be a VERY nice Volvo, and the all-wheel-drive makes it a perfect choice for winter weather. Its Condition..........Overall Good! The engine runs smoothly with no skips, noises, or vibrations. The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears, and the all-wheel-drive works perfectly. The parking brake does not hold, the SRS warning light is on, the serpentine belt squeaks sometimes, and the windshield wipers need to be replaced. There could be other mechanical issues, but those are the ones I noticed in my 36 mile drive from the dealership to our storage garage. The interior is fair. The front seats are beat up, the fake wood on the console is peeling, the headliner is drooping at the rear window, and the whole thing could use a good commercial shampoo. We have a pair of similar front seats in good condition that should fit this car and will go with it. The color is a match. The seats are supportive and very comfortable. All other interior panels are fine. The paint and body are very good. There are no big dents, NO rusted areas, or serious scratches anywhere on the body. The bumpers have been resprayed by the former owner and the finish is not up to factory standards. The rest of the paint appears original, and is in good shape. This car came to us as part of a group of cars and has not been inspected by our service facility. Please don’t call to ask what is wrong. Everything I know is written here. I do not have a report from a mechanic on its overall condition, but I don’t believe there are any really serious mechanical issues. The timing belt sticker indicates that it was replaced at 80K. The car looks pretty good on the outside, but the interior is beat up. The engine and transmission and drive axles are solid. They run well, and the car will take you anywhere you need to go. Things you should know..........I try hard to accurately describe all of our cars. Most are trade-ins to local new car dealers. We have not owned or driven these vehicles as daily transportation. The description is the result of a short test drive over varied road surfaces and a visual inspection while the vehicle is parked. I am not a mechanic and I do not guarantee that my description of problems (if any) is accurate or complete, but I try very hard to be thorough and honest, and my reputation reflects that effort.
