Up forbid I have a rare 1973 Suzuki LJ20, or light jeep. This is the water cooled 2 cylinder two stroke powered pocket 4x4 with a high/low transfer case, and a 4 wheel drive system that looks like a scaled down version of an old WW2 jeep. I have done a lot of work on it, and yes many parts can still be gotten for it from the LJ10.com website. Here are the things I have replaced : Front and rear brake shoes and cylinders (all six brake cylinders replaced with new), brake master cylinder rebuilt, front leaf springs re-arched, fuel pump, plugs, plug wires, air filter, points replaced with solid state hall effect sensor, oil tank, recored radiator, replaced all the marker lights with LED lights, replaced the drive shafts with used ones, serviced the fuel tank (coated inside with POR15),replaced all the motor mounts, and transfer case mounts. Added back up light and fog lights, New bull bar style bumper was made just for it by a local welder. The tires have less than 500 miles on them and are michelin military tires with new tubes.Some vehicle specifications: its 51 inches wide, 1300 pounds, has a 360CC engine that can be made exempt in Utah from emissions tests due to its low displacement, top speed of 50mph.I have the original seats (needs coverings) and the door frames need recovered. I also printed out the service manual, it details every repair possible. Known issues : odometer stopped working at 27000 miles (it has not beed driven more than 500 miles since) Transmission leaks about 1 quart a year, horn isn't hooked up (dash mount switch stuck on), wiper motor worked but is part of the unhooked horn circuit, battery is weak (lawnmower battery) full sized spare tire is quite wore but has a new tube. drivers side mirror has a crack in it. some light scratches and dents are present see pictures below.I keep this 4x4 covered year around, as with all 1973 Suzuki's it is being sold as is no warranty. Its a two stroke so it smokes under load and when the engine is cold, this is normal. Other parts you receive with this vehicle: Spare drive shaft, original oil tank and sensor, door frames, original seat frames, original steering wheel (needs some work) spare ignition wires.
