Up for sale is a 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa Top 64,500 Original Miles! BODY: The body has no major scratches, dents, or rust. There are a couple areas where the paint has chipped off(email for more pics) and small scratches. All the panels line up correctly and the paint is not faded. The targa top looks good but is missing the inner liner and is not flush with the top and has one small tear. All the trim is there and looks good. The paint does have a couple of imperfections but I would still give the body a 7-8/10 Interior- The seats all look good, no rips or tears. They also are not hard and dried up like most this age. The dash is a bit distorted but the cover is not ripped. The radio and all controls appear to be working good. The carpet is in good shape and not stained. The door panels have no rips in them but the pocket flaps are pushed in a bit. One of the leather straps for the rear seat is broke. The headlight knob felt a bit loose when we first got the car but seems to be working fine now. Engine- The engine runs great, lots of new parts. There are no ticks or knocks to speak of. The car has an aftermarket exhaust(comes with original also) Transmission- Shifts good through all gears. Clutch feels great. Suspension- The suspension is all tight. No clunks or creaks. Going around corners it grips as it should. This car is perfect for someone who actually wants to enjoy the car and drive it because it is ready to go down the road. Tires were just installed and the only miles put on them will be for test drives. Horn, turn signals, heat, windows all work. Like stated above, a couple of touch ups on the paint, dash and a new targa top and this this will be near perfect. Brand new (10/23/2014)New Tires, Crank Sensors, Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Fuel Injectors(All 6), Alternator and AC Belt, Oil Hoses, Front Brake Calipers rebuilt, Brake system flushed, Steering column bushing replaced(with metal 928 bushing), Tie rod ends replaced, Fluids changed and the whole car has been gone through.
