If you are looking for a ratty old-er Firebird or Camaro, this isn't it. My mint condition 1979 Pontiac Formula Firebird with 76k original miles is for sale. The car has excellent maintenance history and it shows it has been stored mostly in sheltered parking conditions. 76k true unrestored miles. The '79 Pontiac Formula Firebird in the last production year of the large displacement Pontiac engines. The car is 100% original and factory equipped with: 403cu 6.6L V8, 3sp auto, power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, glass t-tops, big tire package, ws6 handling package with 4-way-disc brakes (logo still visible in the door handle). This is a true number's matching, collector worthy specimen. The car doesn't have any rust. No signs of ever having body work or bondo. Black respray several years ago - still shines but not an award winner - a true unrestored original sample of an American legend. Factory red interior. Every feature and option is 100% functional - including power windows, wipers, horn, seat belts, radio (aftermarket), perfectly sealed T-tops, all gaskets and seals intact around the car. Engine upgrades are only a handful of bolt-ons: equal length headers with upgraded mufflers and factory/original exhaust tips. I still have original components to have 100% original option. Upgraded ignition components including distributor. Tires are at 90% tread or more. Clean title in hand. The car is garage kept in Raleigh. Just drove it 600 miles this past weekend.
