1966 VW BUS Up For A 7 Day WORLDWIDE NO RESERVE Auction Is This Rare 66' VW Bus. This VW Has Been Restored And Looks Great! The Engine Is Believed To Be A 1600cc And Recently Rebuilt. Engine Sounds Good And Produces Very Good Power. The Clutch & Transmission Shifts Nice And Is Also Believed To Have Been Rebuilt. The Bus Runs, Drives, And Handles Down The Road Very Well. Overall Mechanically This Bus Is Dependable. The Exterior Is In Excellent Shape And Has Been Repainted The Original 1966 Volkswagen Color. The Body Looks Really Solid And Straight. Overall I Would Rate The Exterior In Better Shape And Most. The Interior Has Also Been Restored. All Wood Panels Were Replaced With Real Oak Paneling And Looks Better Than Factory! The Seats Have Also Been Redone And Look Excellent. The Carpet Was Also Replaced With Beautiful Wood Flooring. Although Most Of The Interior Has Been Restored We Wanted To Keep Some Of The Originality By Keeping The Original Spice Rack, Interior Handles, And Tables. The Interior Is Beautiful And Overall I Would Rate In Better Shape Than Most. The Canvas On The Pop-Up Roof Is In NEW Condition. The Van Has A Fridge, Stove, And A Sink. There Are Very Few Things The Van Needs To Be Completely Finished. Overall I Would Rate This As A Very Good Bus That Should Be Considered A Daily Driver, Weekend Cruiser, Or Simply Drive It To The Local Car Shows.
