Vehicle Detail
This is an ORIGINAL, ORIGINAL, 3200 MILE bike. I'll try not to use the word original again but add it to every pic and the start of every sentence. It sparkles with the Sunrise Orange paint!! From the front, tire no dry rot. Rim has a couple specks of rust. Front forks lowers have some slight oxidation on aluminum. Front brake plunger is stuck, Do not want to mess with it. Switch controls look from factory. Gauges look GREAT. Clutch and brake levers are the "O" word like every other component on the bike. Handlebar has a slight tweak from tying down for transport. Too small to show in pics. Under the seat is the same with toolkit and the Owner's Manual still in the plastic bag. Tank has sparkle, and inside the tank is solid and has a tiny amount fuel in it and slight rust in it that wipes out with a rag. The tank chrome trim is as left the factory! Side covers are amazing!! Engine shows some oxidation on the covers. Rear tire has no dry rot. Pipes solid and will clean up nice. Passenger side has a 1/2 inch by 2 inch light scuff on it from years in the garage. The bike has NEVER been down.. Seat is perfect. Has original yellow paint marks from factory on brake lines, etc, See them in pics. Have original manual under the seat as well as toolkit. Chain and sprockets show appropriate wear for the miles. This bike was purchased from the owner's wife. It has sat in the garage since the husband's passing away. I parked this bike on my front lawn and many times had more than one person looking at it.The bike looks better in person. I have this bike advertised locally as well and reserve the right to end auction at any time. I will post a link of a walk around video in the next few days. I have not tried to start the bike. I only verified spark and made it fart on starter fluid. The winning bidder will deal with the front brake and will need a carb clean. I have the ability to deal with both issues but just want to leave the bike as is. It took me about 2hrs of cleaning to bring the bike to this condition. Have it detailed and win a show as is. Rebuild the front master cylinder and ultrasonic clean the carbs, change the oil, add a battery and ride to the shows. Any bid from a member with less than a 10 score will be ignored without contacting me first. Any other questions please ask. Bike will be sold with a New Hampshire registration and a Bill of Sale. Transferable in any state to be titled and registered. On Oct-14-14 at 07:01:47 PDT, seller added the following information: The build date is 12/74 on the bike. The original tires are Bridgestones. The upcoming video will capture 2 pics I should of posted. On Oct-22-14 at 04:15:13 PDT, seller added the following information: All Bidders and Watchers. It is getting down to 1 1/2 days till the end of the auction!! Any questions please ask.
