THIS CAR SOLD ORIGINALLY BUT I COULDN'T FIND THE TITLE SO THE SALE WAS CANCELLED. I HAVE SINCE FOUND THE TITLE but then decided maybe to keep it, (I really like it but can't figure out what's wrong and I can't get it into my garage.) SO READY TO SELL AGAIN! SOLD AS IS/FOR PARTS/RESTORATION! DOES NOT RUN!!!! PROBLEMS ARE UNKNOWN! (this is the previous listing elaborated a bit) PLEASE ONLY BUY IF YOU CAN COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION The price has been drastically reduced for FAST COMPLETION OF THE TRANSACTION!!!!!!! 1992 BMW 735i Sedan - Automatic This car ran when it was parked in my driveway about a year ago(now over a year) Not sure the problem. I am not a mechanic so joined some online forums and did take a few things down(dashboard) trying to figure out the problem, according to what people were telling me and what video's to watch on youtube etc. I'm not even sure because I never bought a new battery, but It might actually be a battery and the reason I say this is because I took the battery to AUTOZONE, after I killed it trying to start it, and also from it sitting, and they said it was no good/would not take a charge(it's a $180 battery so sought a second opinion), yet MIDAS charged it, though when I put it back in, it did not start and of course I ended up killing the battery again. (I can't keep bringing the battery to MIDAS). (the headlights do not come on). Someone said it's a short circuit. I'm not interested in bringing it in to BMW for fear what the bill might be. Was originally purchased for my daughter and when It went in for a sticker at that time I needed to put new front tires and a windshield for it to pass, then drove it less than 100 miles after finding out it needed a bushing in the front end because the steering is dangerous in it's current state. (I purchased it for $2000! (ON EBAY! and the seller said at that time it was a good car and that nothing was needed for it to pass. (i bought it in state) However registration was delayed. It took 3 months to get THE RIGHT title(The person who got it originally was not a dealer and he never registered it so had to wait for a new title. I filed an ebay claim because it was supposedly guaranteed by ebay "seller protection". (yeah right! choke! That was a joke but I felt confident because of it. Doesn't the car fax report make you all fuzzy inside? 47 with the 46 being top average!) Then I parked it because my daughter still did not go for her permit by that time. Nonetheless, I went to start it one day so to bring it to MIDAS to fix the front end bushing it needed but.., it was dead. I have since tried a few things to get it going and I could not get it to start, (I will almost bet if I could have made the front headlights go on, the car will start!??? Whatever is making the front lights from going on is keeping the car from starting up. (The alarm has not been completely ruled out! lol) The FRONT SEAT NEEDS A SEAT COVER, BUT IT STILL FEELS COMFORTABLE THE WAY IT IS SO NEVER BOTHERED. The rest of the interior was decent but it's been sitting now for a long time and it is deteriorating sitting in my driveway and can't let it sit any longer. I have since removed the registration and insurance. NEED it GONE ASAP! (Again, I HAVE REMOVED SOME OF THE DASHBOARD TRYING TO FIX THE CAR, (I THOUGHT THE ALARM MAY HAVE BEEN THE PROBLEM, there is a hidden fuse that I had to buy a $150 manual to find out where it was!(thanks to a forum for these cars, they would not tell me where it was without buying the manual, (NOT INCLUDED! I sold it on ebay because it did me no good. The manual basically tells me to bring it to an authorized BMW dealer! HA!!!! lol ) I have but HAVE NOT PUT THE PIECES BACK. THEY ARE IN THE TRUNK NOW. I purchased another car and don't want to "get into" repairing this one! There are I am sure a lot of great parts, including body parts which are somewhat valuable these days to someone looking for those parts. This is for the person who knows and lives and breathes these cars who knows the value. It was a beautiful running car before it went dead. I can't say the same for the driving due to the busing it needs. (it is supposed safe like that but it's dangerous to drive in my opinion. The busing it supposedly a common repair and it was on it's way to get done, it just never made it there.) COME AND GET IT!!!! FOR RESTORATION/PARTS/REPAIR SOLD AS IS NO WARRANTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CASH ON PICK-UP PLEASE. (IF YOU WANT TO SEND A CERTIFIED CHECK, THIS MUST CLEAR PRIOR TO PICKING UP THE CAR.(10 DAYS). TITLE WILL NOT BE RELEASED UNTIL PAYMENT HAS CLEARED MY BANK. (CASH RULES). ****I WAS GOING TO KEEP THIS CAR, PUT IT IN MY GARAGE ETC ETC, one day send it in when I have a good amount of cash to let go of, kinda like a classic car, since it is one... BUT WHEN I WENT TO DO SO, THE STEERING WHEEL WAS LOCKED AND TURNING THE KEY DID NOT UNLOCK IT!!!!!! It is not a light car by any means and pushing it is difficult by ones self. SO I COULD NOT GET IT TO TURN(the steering is locked at this moment) SO I CAN'T PUSH IT IN MY GARAGE. SO THAT IS THE REASON WHY I AM POSTING THIS AUCTION AGAIN! MUST GO! MY NEIGHBOR REMINDED ME OF THE TOWN BYLAW WHICH WILL NOT LET ME KEEP IT IN MY DRIVEWAY! (THIS IS A VERY COLLECTIBLE CAR, BOOK VALUE IS OVER $5000 AND IT'S STARTING TO GO UP IN VALUE!)
