This was my fathers first new car. He special ordered it in 1967 with every available performance option. The only options not for performance are hide away headlights, factory 8-Track and the car is convertible. The car was last on the road in 1981. It was in an accident that dented the rear drivers side quarter panel that you can see in the picture. the car was taken off the road and never made it back. My father died in 1989 and my mom saved the car for me. I have not been able to do anything with it and I cannot have it in my garage any more.I have a lot of paperwork that will go with the car and some restoration books. On Oct-13-14 at 23:23:22 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had many questions about the car so here are some additional details and I realized that the drivers side picture didn't show up so added the picture of the accident damage. It is the rear drivers side quarter panel. I am sorry for the delay in that picture. The entire car is completely original as it came from the factory to include the engine , transmission, rear end and EVERY other part of the car. When the car was new, my father decided that he didn't like the chrome along the bottom and he removed it. This is good because I have it and its in decent shape. I also have the original mounting hardware for the chrome that is still in the box with my fathers hand writing labeling it. The floors and frame are very rusty and the frame by the rear bumper is weak. I'm sure that the engine, transmission and every other part of the car will need to be rebuilt or reconditioned. The paint on the car is the original paint. I have found the folder with all of the paperwork in it and also the original owners manual. A guy came to see the car. He actually crawled under it and looked around. He said that the frame behind the rear axle was very rusted and would need work and the floor has holes rusted all the way through. be aware that the car needs a total restoration and it is not a quick fix car.
