***1959 EDSEL RANGER 35K ACTUAL MILES PROJECT CAR ESTATE CAR*** ***STORED FOR THE LAST 13 YEARS*** ***GREAT CAR FOR RESTORATION*** ***292 ENGINE POWER STEERING AUTOMATIC*** ***COMPLETE CAR NOT RUNNING*** This is a 1959 Edsel Ranger four door sedan that was repainted red. The title and the inspection stickers indicate that the car only has 35,987 miles. The owner passed away and the family has asked me to list the car. The car has been sitting for 13 years yet the interior and the trim look great. This is a complete car that would be a great restoration project or an excellent parts car. The car has a clear title. The car has an automatic transmission, 292 V-8 engine and power steering. It even has the original hub caps. Grill is excellent. The car needs someone to bring it back to its glory. According to the trim plate this car was originally Moonrise Gray and you can see the gray in places Chrome and trim are nice - trim is really much nicer than expected on a car of this age Driver side door doesn't want to latch and door behind the driver door will not open - latches need some lubrication Body is not beat up or damaged It has all the trim Grill is in excellent condition - you can see one trim piece needs to be installed. It is sitting on the fender Taillights, trim and rear bumper  Interior looks great - it appears to be completely original Dash is very nice Front seat Steering wheel Instruments are clear White knobs on heater controls are excellent - note radio with OFF button pushed in Edsel script on dash trim I found 3 state inspection stickers with mileage inside the glove box - pictured below Rear seat Original seat covers - seats still feel comfy Original headliner Driver door panel Passenger door panel - sill plates have Edsel script Panels and arm rests are in great shape Engine is a 292 V-8 - it is not running and we have not tried to start it - turns over by hand Engine is complete with original air cleaner Engine is full of oil  Master cylinder, vacuum wipers Power steering  Carburetor and distributor Underside of hood Trunk opens and closes properly - have keys for ignition and trunk Underside of trunk lid Driver side of trunk - has a couple of holes Passenger side of trunk - has a couple of holes Spare Serial number matches VIN on title - C9UF735160 (C - 292 Engine), B - Color Moonrise Gray, 501 - Silver And Black Vinyl With Black Surf Cloth, 3 - Transmission is automatic with lever and 1 - Axle is 3:10 ratio Title says actual mileage Inspection stickers found in glove box - 1968 mileage was 32,407 1979 mileage was 34,513 1986 mileage was 34,524 Grill - very sharp!
