1970 Torino Cobra J code. Car was completely restored in 2009 with mostly all NOS or original restored parts. NOS items included tail light bezels, headlight buckets, grille, Both L and R door glass, tail pipe chrome extensions, side marker bezels, 429cj exhaust manifold heat riser, divorced choke, and many, many more parts! Car was restored to a #1 car but is currently a strong #2 car. Quarters were replaced, trunk drip rail, floor pans, and battery apron. All the above body parts were cut from another 1970 Torino with the exception of the battery apron. Just Dashes restored the dash pad, Pony Carbs rebuilt the original carburetor, and I cannot remember the company that restored the fuel pump but I have all pics documenting the rebuild. Stainless steel brake and fuel lines, and aluminium exhaust. I used Dearborn Classics, and MAC's for various odd and end items in the rebuild. I have most all of the original A/C and is in the trunk of car. Car has original transmission and rear axle, Motor block is a factory FRED JONES (subsidiary company of FORD) replacement block that was installed while the car was under warranty. I have the original Fred Jones tag that was placed on the block with a re stamped vin on it. Time is starting to show a few small blemishes to include a couple of minor cracks in paint.This car had original bucket seats with column shift transmission. Pretty rare to see these 2 together. Dealer installed rear window louvers. Original Ford 14x7 steel wheels with Dog dish caps. Car was originally a light Ivy Yellow car but painted it Bright Yellow. I have a complete book documenting the rebuild from beginning to end. Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping, and a 500.00 non refundable deposit due within 48 hours of auction closing.
