1946 Chevy 1 1/2 ton cab and chassis for parts or restore. Truck is mostly stripped but still has some usable parts. Cab is in good shape with a few small dents but not rusted out. Doors are rough but could be repaired. Front fenders hood, and running boards are solid and would require only minor straightening to be usable. Four speed transmission appears to be in good shape and shifts into all gears. Engine appears to be a 228 GMC (not sure of the size...I'm not familiar with GMC engines) but engine is stuck from sitting. Outer dual wheels were removed to better fit on trailer but are included, front bumper and brackets are also included. One rear hub is locked up so a winch definitely helps when loading. Pick up is the buyers responsibility but I can help with loading...I have a winch on my trailer so I can load on my trailer and winch it across onto yours. I can possibily deliver within 200 amile radius for $1.25 per loaded mile...email with location for an exact quote before placing bid. Truck has a clear Kansas title. Look at the pictures and bid accordingly. My opening bid is about half of what the recycle yard will pay for scrap, but I would hate to scrap this truck if someone can use the parts for a restoration or a rat rod. Vehicle is located in Westphalia Missouri...about 20 miles SE of Jefferson city in central MO. Vehicle is sold as-is, where-is with low opening bid and no reserve! I require a $100 deposit through Paypal within 48 hours of auction ending. remaining balance, if any, can either be made through Paypal or paid in cash at time of pick up. Vehicle to be picked up within one week of auction ending unless other arrangements are agreed upon prior to auction ending. On Oct-17-14 at 08:30:35 PDT, seller added the following information: As long as vehicle is paid for in full, I can hold it for a couple of weeks...just email me and let me know how much time you need before bidding.On Oct-18-14 at 16:40:17 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had several emails with questions from "how long do I have to pick it up" to "how long is your trailer" etc. I have tried to answer these questions but the emails keep getting returned as undeliverable...not sure if the problem is with Ebay or something on my end. Anyway, I can hold the truck for a couple of weeks provided it is paid for in full within one week. My trailer is 18 foot. If you email a question and don't get an answer it is not that I don't want to answer...something is stopping my replys from going through.
