selling my 1981 Chevrolet corvette.I've searched for other c3 vettes, you can get them cheaper, however, you pay for what you get. Look at the interiors. I guarantee they are falling apart. The chrome edging will be junky the seats or carpet will be faded, and if the door panels have never been replaced you can bet on doing them. Original Vette door panels all get dry- rot carpet. Mine are brand new. Just made in October 2012 and far exceed the quality of oem. Look at my interior it is damn near perfect. Only thing that isn't is the dash is cracked( they all do) but I put a very nice carpet piece over it. It has 37,000 ORIGINAL miles on it, beautiful torch red just restored. INSIDE is immaculate as well as the outside. Every time i take her out i get compliments without fail. This car came from Kentucky, a GM rep. bought it for his mother. she had it till she was unable to drive any longer. They then sold it to their neighbor and i bought it from him back in 2009-10 I had it shipped from Kentucky to here in tampa. this car has aways been garage kept from the day it was new. This car runs and drives like new no problems with the suspension or anything in the drive train. the motor is rebuilt and the only thing original is the block and crankshaft. everything else is NEW aluminum parts, comp cams camshaft. I had the Transmission shipped to New jersey and back to the only person i trust to rebuild it and put i higher stall converter and shift kit. the tranny shifts amazingly, better then new. AC blows cold as it is new. Door panels, carpet, floor mats and seats are new as well as a few of the moldings. all gaskets and weather stripping are new. I had Maximum audio instal a touchscreen flip-out cd player with wireless cellphone connection (bluetooth)I also installed LED lighting throughout the entire car. all the gauges look like the new cars today, bright and easy to see. I put HID headlights and also installed HELLA off road foglights so this is the brightest thing going down the street, looks awesome.I have all documentation, even the window sticker and warrantee info. i have a VERY detailed parts list of everything ive bought for it.If youre looking for a well pampered car look no further, this car has never been dirty, hundreds of dollars for the waxes used on this car, to wash it, hose in down and drive up the street, it has that much wax on it!
