Vehicle Detail

1980 Triumph TR8 with 44,000 miles on it which I believe to be true. No Rust and was a California sold vehicle. I purchased it from a great Sports Car shop in San Luis Obispo. It didn't run and as the pictures show it needs Complete body and paint- interior and convertible top. All parts were purchased from either Victoria British- The Wedge Shop or Moss Motors. It now is a running and driving vehicle, below is a list of repairs done by myself or a shop in Utah.Fuel system ::: removed fuel tank and had steamed cleaned and koted- new fuel pump and fuel filter-custom made fuel feed lines- one need fuel injector and other fuel line as needed. Fuel tank sending unit was sent out for rebuilding.Rear suspension ::: rear lower control arm bushings replaced-new rear wheel cylinders-new brake shoes-brake flex hose-rear differential was serviced.Transmission ::: change transmission oil-replace transmission mount with proper TR8 unit-replaced shifter bushings with up rated pieces-new clutch master and slave cylinders.Front suspension/sub frame ::: remove sub frame and disassemble clean and repaint- replaced oil pan gasket and engine front seal- rebuild front calipers-surface rotors and replace wheel bearings-new spring seats-up rated roller bearings in mounts-new gaiters-new lower ball joints- reseal brake master cylinder and replace brake flex hose - bleed system and adjust e-brake.Have steering rack rebuilt along with new tie rod ends-new sub frame mounts-new stock size tires and alignmentEngine ::: replace valve cover gaskets and reseal intake plenum chamber, new spark plugs-dist rotor and cap-new Pertronix ignition unit-check all wiring to engine harness- clean and tape areas where the cloth cover has come off. Replace water pump with new-have power steering pump rebuilt-rebuilt alternator installed-radiator was re cored with up rated core. New low speed fan switch installed.Interior ::: removed steering column and replaced worn firewall bushing with up rated unit. replaced ignition switch with OEM unit, removed leaking heater valve and had it rebuilt as they are not available anymore. Items that I know of is ::: 1) complete body and paint 2) complete interior 3) new convertible top 4) A/C system is all there and hooked up BUT i didn't have it recharged and checked5) interior lights and radio missing 6 ) front side marker lights missing 7) rear exhaust from mufflers thru tail pipesThe worst thing they did to the let this car sit. It drives well and has no rustQuestions are welcome
